One Month Prior

"...What?! You can't marry her!"

"But I'm gonna!" Lenny nodded resolutely. "Yup, she loves me."

"But...but!"

"Yep." He gave her a meaningful glance, "Oh, and she's good enough for me. Definitely."

He had taken her to a park, just to let her down easy. And they weren't even dating...

She pulled to a stop in front of a Justice of the Peace's home. Recognizing Lenny's car, she parked and raced into the building, two steps at a time.

There was a couple at the alter. A blond guy in a red jacket.

"No!" She screamed. "Lenny, don't do it!"

"Don't do what?" He asked her.

But he wasn't at the altar....
