Scene 5:The apartment five days later.Cindy is soaking her feet as she and Laverne watch Gilligan's Island.The phone rings.
Cindy.Do you mind answering it Laverne? Your dad had me hopping around serving tables all day today and my feet are still aching.
Laverne.Dokay!(walks to phone)Hallow? Dis is Laberne DeFaseeo Sbeakin'.Hew dew yew vant? Yea,the here.(holds phone)Thindy itth for yew!
(Cindy gets up and in the process trips over the pan she was soaking her feet in spilling water all over the floor.)
Cindy.Gosh..sorry Laverne.
Laverne.Dat's ok.
Cindy(taking phone).Yes?Oh,hi there Chrissy.What's up? No,that was my roommate.She only sounds like Jimmy Durante 'cause she has a broken nose. What? Sure..I could do that for you. But I'd need to talk it over with Laverne first. Ok.Bye!
Laverne.Wad waz dat all adout?
Cindy.That was my cousin Chrissy.She had to move out of her apartment for awhile and wanted to know if I'd mind taking her place and as they need a third to help pay the rent. Sooo...

Cindy.You wouldn't be mad at me for leaving you roommateless again? I mean I know how hard it was for you to find a new roommate after Shirley left but...

Scene 6:Cowboy Bill's a week later.The gang is throwing a farwell party for Cindy.
Laverne(semi-recuperated).I'll miss ya kid!
Shirley.We'll all miss you!(dries eyes).
Cindy.Why are you crying?I'm only moving to Santa Monica,it's not like I was moving to the Yukon or dying.
Laverne.Shirl' always gets sentimental at times like these.She even cried when they cancelled Rawhide.
Shirley(aside).Laverne you promised NEVER to mention THAT!
Carmine(aside).Never mind.(to Cindy)We all will really miss you. (gives her a hug and kiss,followed by Frank,Laverne,Shirley,Lenny Squiggy and Rhonda).
Cindy(picks up bags).Bye!(turns to go but turns around).Call or drop by whenever you feel like it! I gave the address and phone number to Laverne.(Keeps walking and bumps into wall).Ooops!(Grins as she picks up bags and walks out the door.)
Carmine.Ya know I'm gonna really miss her!
Laverne.Yeah! I just hope her new roommates have enough insurance!
