And yes, I couldn't quite figure out how to spell the name of Lenny's sovereign mini-nation, so I improvise.

Lanie's robotic recitation wasn't enough to quell Laverne's fury. "Purity?! Purity?! I ain't a bimbo!" she realized that much of her flesh was now on display, since she had pushed out of Lenny's arms. She dove back under the covers in embarrassment.
"Laverne, none of us have much of a choice in the matter. If you don't give us the sheets, the people were revolt!"
"Lanie, you're bein' a Camille! I'm sure they'll..." She gave a befuddled Lenny an askance glance, "could you give us a second to get dressed, Lenie?"
"My pleasure," the girl said, leaving and taking the rest of the Kosnowskis with her.
Laverne leapt from the bed, locking the door and tossing herself back into bed.
"Whatt're we gonna do?" Lenny whispered.
"Stay in here for as long as we can."
He wrapped his arms around her, wiggling his brow, "that sounds like fun."
She smirked, kissed him. For once he was right.

Shirley glared at Carmine. His excuses weren't any better than those of a player in an afterschool special. "Everyone else does it, eh? Why don't I?"
He grinned, eyes glazed over, "because, Shirley, you are a squaaaare..." he lurched drunkenly against a dresser.
She glared at him, menacingly. They had debated his alcoholism since they had left the breakfast table. In an ornately decorated hallway, their words reached defining decibels.
"I'm not square; I have a little girl to take care of, and besides..."
He laughed, "you ain't a singer, Shirl. You don't hafta compete with twelve guys younger than you for the same part..."
She sighed, "Carmine, you're hurting yourself..."
"I don't care, OK, Shirl? I don't care. Everyone else is doin' it!"
A butler interrupted them, "excuse me, is there a Miss Feeney here?"
She nodded, "yes."
"A man at the door delivered these for you."
She took the papers from the silver tray he offered and slit them open with the tip of her nail. He froze in place, waiting for an honorarium, which Carmine was forced to pay.
Tears rolled down her cheeks, and Carmine was apologetic, "Shirl, I didn't mean to hurt you, I'm sorry..."
"No," she whispered, "it's not that..." she handed him the papers, then collapsed against him, tears in her eyes, "Walter has an injunction against me, for taking Veenie to Poland. I may loose custody!"
