He didn't need to promise her a big fancy house to get her this far.

Yet, here they were, out on a paper road. He spread out his arms and told her joyfully that everything before them would be theirs.

Well, that was a dramatic way of saying he loved her.

And how hard he had worked; her mamma said that he had given away dreams just to spend time with her and get her to this place. Her biggest dream was to see Jumbo The Elephant.

Amy licked her lollipop.

Her doll house might look good under the tree.
