I mustn't wrinkle.

Mustn't spit. Mustn't curse. Musn't wreck my makeup.

Got to sit still and smile. Be sweet. Be accomplished. The perfect mom, the perfect wife, her perfect dog and children.

No one ever hooked a husband by being a loosey goosey; my knees locked together. I've never done anything but be a very good girl.

Carmine says break the rules. Let go. Laverne says break the rules.

But look what happens when you break the rules. Look at poor Lenny and Squiggy.

I'm sorry to bother you with this, diary. But someone should know how I really feel.
