Author's Note: Alright, alright, it only took me 4 months to get this part out--I'm sorry! I was pulled violently into another fandom & it wouldn't let me go! I'm just getting back into the swing of this fic, so that's why this part is so short (sorry!). I will be working on this some more & soon *grin*

Laverne and Lenny, closely followed by Shirley and Carmine, walked back to the hotel from the cafe.
"What about letting Lauren stay in California until she finishes this semester, then she can transfer to a college near Milwaukee for the Fall?" Shirley suggested, interjecting herself into Laverne's rambling.
"I dunno about leavin' her in Burbank by herself. I mean, I know she's old enough to take care of herself, but she's a homebody. She actually likes to have me around," Laverne said.
"It's only two months, Laverne," Carmine added.
"Yeah, 'sides, it'll give us time to get all moved in an' everythin'," Lenny said, giving Laverne a wink.
She replied with an elbow to his side. "Alright, I'll give her the idea and see what she thinks..."

Lauren's jaw dropped. "You're actually gonna let me stay in California by myself?!"
"If ya wanna," Laverne said.
"Great!" Lauren cheered, then paused. "So... then when's the wedding?"
Laverne and Lenny exchanged looks and Lenny jerked his thumb at Laverne. "Ask 'er."
"Okay, so I haven't thought of everythin' yet," Laverne said.
"What the heck ya need a weddin' for? Y'already got a kid!" Squiggy said, loudly, from his lounged position on the bed. Everyone turned glares towards him.
"Why don't you have it in early June? Lauren will be back here by then and it'll give you enough time to plan it," Nate offered.
Laverne smiled. "It's all set, then. Early June--whenever a church is free--and Shirl, don't go looking for those weddin' planners like ya did before."
Shirley pouted. "All right, but you won't get to do anything for mine, then."
"Shirl!" Carmine exclaimed. Shirley shrugged, and everyone else laughed.
