In 1938, Alexander's Ragtime Band played and it was great.

A new decade was soon to arrive, the Feeney family was expecting child number 5.

They welcomed her with open arms, a baby girl with all the charms.

The Feeney's loved their precious girlie, so her mother named her daughtar Shirley.

Shirley Wilhelmina Feeney was precise, she loved the woodland creatures and even little mice.

Her parents marriage was often very rocky, born to an Irish family who raised her in Milwaulkee.

10 years later, she would meet, an Italian girl from the Bronx who was sweet.

From Elementary to High School they would go, Filmore Class of '56, you know.

They lived under the sidewalk for many years, and shared a lot of laughs and tears.

In the 60's, they were fired from work one day, packed up their things and moved to L.A.

They got new jobs and worked in wrapping, It might sound dull, but it beat bottle capping.

Later on, when they all got chummy, Shirley go married to Walter the mummy.

Shirley got pregnant and her eyes all gleamy, motherhood knocks fo Shirley Feeney Meany.

Laverne is on her own now, while Shirley's overseas, She has her friends to guide her in her life so happily.
