To No Doubt's "Simple Kind Of Life"
For a long time Lenny's alone
While he's alone, he gets depressed
For a friendship that would last all his life
His girl hasn't come, she's under his nose.
************************************************
And all he wanted was his sweet Laverne
'Cause Lenny needs his wife
And all he needed was his sweet Laverne
So she could be his wife.
************************************************
Lenny is shy, he is not mean
I don't know how he lives with Squiggy
Lenny's a sweet guy, Squiggy is so strange
Lenny get out, Squiggy's insane.
************************************************
Squig's a sick and greased up stupid man who's often never right
And that's why Lenny needs his sweet Laverne
So she could be his wife.
************************************************
If Lenny left Squiggy for a very long time
Would they ever be friends again?
Would they ever have the time?
************************************************
I always thought Lenny was slow
Lenny, I know, I could not hate
The longer that I watch the more lovable he gets
He might just be good for Laverne.
************************************************
Now he's with his sweet Laverne, she loves him
In their simple married life
Why'd she wait so long to marry Lenny?
But now she is his wife
When all he ever wanted was his sweet Laverne
Lenny has his wife.
