In the early fifties, Shirley Feeney met Carmine Ragusa at the Millard Filmore High School where their relationship first began. It continued on through the sixties and they almost married. Soon after, Shirley Feeney met and married Walter Meeney. That resulted in Shirley leaving Laverne and leading a new life with Walter.
Twenty years later, Shirley returned to Milwaukee and reunited with Laverne and Carmine, her one true love, who would never ever hurt her like Walter did. While gazing into each others eyes, they both knew that they'd be together forever. The two wed and finally consummated their relationship.
